Lightup Impact is a movement of over 100 young grassroots leaders across East Africa advocating for equality in health, gender, and opportunities. We foster unity and collaboration to transform the lives of vulnerable communities for a more equitable world.

At Lightup Impact, we empower young community leaders across East Africa to overcome these challenges. We strengthen their capacity to lead locally, scale their impact, and build on their solutions for sustainable development.

We achieve this through three pillars:

1. Networking & Peer-to-peer support: Building strong local networks of changemakers and connecting them to stakeholders who can help advance their initiatives.

2. Skills and Capacity Development: Tailored trainings in leadership, personal growth, and organizational development to strengthen grassroots leaders and their organizations.

3. Trust-based partnerships: Facilitating the first partnerships for grassroots leaders to enhance visibility, credibility, and access to funders, so young organizations can be trusted to lead.
