About Arch Retail Systems
Spinnaker Software (incorporating Arch) is a retail management solutions and service provider. We started as a small family business in 1997, growing into a market leader in retail and wholesale management solutions with a team of more than 230 people.
Our accumulated retail industry and technology experience allows us to innovate and deliver high-performance, reliable solutions to our clients. Working in partnership, we help our clients to optimise operational efficiency and provide the best possible experience for their customers. The goal is to make our Arch users more competitive and to increase operations’ profitability.
The Arch suite of products, developed in-house by Spinnaker Software, offers an integrated retail management solution for the Edge in retail. The Edge is offered to retailers by applying an understanding of challenges within retail and using new technologies and market knowledge to create business processes, mitigating such challenges.
The fit-to-function suite of products and services enable Users to:
• effectively execute on inventory and margin plans
• improve control and understanding of operations
• serve the customer better
• improve profitability and cash flow
The following products have been developed to address the needs in an ever-evolving retail landscape:
• Arch Retail – in-store management system
• Arch Enterprise – centralised multi-store management solution
• Arch Mobile – mobile application offering for on-the-floor management capabilities
• Arch Accounting – seamless flow of trading data to accounting software
• Arch Loyalty – to reward loyal customers and gather valuable marketing info
• Arch Value Adds – integrated peripheral functionality to amplify customer experience at POS
• Arch eStore – integrated platform for online shopping
• Arch eReplenish – fully automated and integrated procure-to-payment solution
• Arch Fuel – all-in-one integrated convenience store and forecourt solution
Our solution is scalable - used in stores with 2 points to mega-stores with 50+ POS. Our client base includes independent stores and corporate groups such as OK Foods, Ultra Liquors, Sefalana Group, Food Lovers Market and President Hyper, to name a few. Our 1700+ stores, representing 18000+ points, are supported from our Branches throughout South Africa (Cape Town, Port Elizabeth/Gqeberha, Durban, Bloemfontein, Midrand and Windhoek). In addition, we have service centres servicing clients in Zimbabwe, Angola, Zambia, Tanzania, Malawi & DRC. Global expansion is part of Spinnaker’s strategy. This is evident in the recent go-live of 3 stores in Australia & 1 in the UK.
